Top Reference Apps Performance in UAE Q3 2025

During the third quarter of 2025, the top 5 reference apps in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their key metrics.

Google Translate maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 24.6K and peaking at 35.4K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also rose, from 1.8M to a peak of 2.2M mid-quarter, before ending at 1.95M.

Athkar - أذكار saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, ranging from $2.3K to $3.9K, with a noticeable peak at $3.8K in late September. The app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 2K, while active users showed a slight decline from 68.9K to 66.2K.

WeMuslim: Athan, Qibla&Quran experienced an upward trend in downloads, increasing from 9K to nearly 14.9K mid-quarter. Revenue was modest, peaking at $94. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 446.8K to 359.7K by quarter's end.

Quran Majeed – القران الكريم reported stable revenue figures, with a range between $475 and $1.3K, peaking mid-August. Downloads fluctuated between 2.6K and 4.1K, while active users increased from 116K to 128K.

Translate Ease showed a decline in weekly downloads from 2.7K to just 200 by the end of September. Active users also decreased, from 2.6K to 1.7K, over the quarter.
